The Garden Club of Dallas

This is how it all started…

Originally started in 1941 as The First Men’s Garden Club of Dallas and affiliated with the The Men’s Garden Clubs of America, we incorporated in 1971 and expanded the membership to include women in 2014. In 2023 we incorporated again as The Garden Club of Dallas now affiliated with The Gardeners of America.

The Club is composed of members with a wide range of horticultural interests and expertise. Programs are varied throughout the year in an attempt to be of either specific or general interest to all members. Although special programs (outside speakers) are regularly presented, some of the principle benefits of the monthly meeting is the camaraderie, sharing of information and experiences between members.
